Lake Minden (June 19 - July 2 & July 14 - July 18)
Camped at a small private lake in a rural and agricultural setting in Nicolaus, Calif. A quick 45 minutes from Sacramento, it was a good landing spot after we closed on the house.
The first week was relaxing and fine, until it heated up to 112 degrees and became uncomfortable.
Pacifica/San Francisco (July 2 - July 14)
Escaped the heat and made it to the cool coast of 65 degree weather. The view of the Pacific ocean from our RV was stunning. Jim enjoyed late morning runs and Dana joined a large water aerobic group at a local high school. Our son Declan joined us for this trip and was great having him. We had fun playing ping pong, site seeing and playing games and relaxing.
Our dog Gracie freaked out over the ocean waves as this was her first experience.
Heading back to Lake Minden for 4 days before started an extended trip to the east coast. Hope to be back in California in the Spring of 2025.

It's amazing that in two months of RV'ing, you've managed to avoid any maintenance mistakes.
